- "This was composed on 12th December 2001. When I was writing the music, I had the image of a young lady leisurely strolling in the meadows, at the foot of a valley, picking flowers along the way. It was springtime and the weather was beautiful and cool. I chose to use the flute as its soft and feminine tone suits the mood and character of this piece."
